Breast imaging may involve one exam or a combination of services, depending on your provider’s order and the reason for your appointment. For example, mammography may be used with breast ultrasound to evaluate a specific area of concern, or breast MRI may be recommended when additional detail is needed.

In addition to breast imaging, The Women’s Imaging Center also provides general and obstetric ultrasound services. Ultrasound uses sound waves to create real-time images and does not use radiation. These exams may be used to evaluate many areas of the body or to support pregnancy-related imaging based on your provider’s order.

Each exam is reviewed by a radiologist, and results are shared with your referring provider. When follow-up is recommended, our team works to support clear communication and coordinated next steps.

To request an appointment, please complete the appointment request form or call (360) 428-7275. A member of our team will follow up to help coordinate your appointment.
